About Lydia Varmazis

Lydia Varmazis leads RBCx’s portfolio of four wholly-owned companies in SaaS, fintech, and consumer tech: Ownr, Mydoh, Dr. Bill, and Houseful. She manages and develops CEOs, builds product leadership teams overseeing centralized platforms across payments, identity, and growth infrastructure, and serves on the Board of Directors for RBC Investor Services ($2.9T AUM).

With 20+ years building and scaling high-performing product and engineering teams, Lydia has driven transformations at Adobe (built the infrastructure, business model, and teams for Creative Cloud’s SaaS transition), PayPal (led product and engineering teams building identity and payments platforms serving 235M customers and $354B in total payment volume), and Checkr (built product organization from 5 to 42 people, scaling through $2.25B Series D).

Before joining RBCx, Lydia founded and scaled Lydia & Co., where she served as a fractional CPO/CPTO and strategic advisor, helping companies build teams and product strategies through critical inflection points. Clients included Drift, Adobe, Albertsons/Safeway, and Fountain.

Lydia holds a BS from Ryerson University, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and is certified in Corporate Governance from Wharton. She speaks regularly on product strategy, scaling teams and organizations, AI governance, and operational excellence.
