About Lydia Varmazis
Lydia Varmazis leads RBCx's portfolio of four wholly-owned companies in SaaS, fintech, and consumer tech: Ownr, Mydoh, Dr. Bill, and Houseful. She manages CEOs, serves on the boards of these companies, and leads centralized platform development across payments, identity, and growth infrastructure. She also serves on the Board of Directors for RBC Investor Services.
With 20+ years scaling businesses through product and engineering leadership, Lydia has driven transformations at Adobe (led the SaaS transition and Creative Cloud launch), PayPal (ran product and engineering for identity and payments platforms serving 235M customers and $451B in payment volume), and Checkr (first product executive, scaling through $2.25B Series D).
Before joining RBCx, Lydia founded and scaled Lydia & Co., where she served as fractional CPO and strategic advisor to companies navigating critical inflection points: zero-to-one product development, monetization strategy, and operational scaling. Clients included Drift, Adobe, Chipper Cash, Albertsons/Safeway, Uniphore, and Fountain.
Lydia holds a BS from Ryerson University, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and is certified in Corporate Governance from Wharton.
She speaks regularly on product strategy, scaling organizations, AI governance, and operational excellence at industry conferences and webinars.
